NCC to Increase Price of Data to 250MB for N1000
NCC to Increase Data tariff way back in the month of May, there were reports that the prices for data bundles and calls will be increased if Section 24 of cyber crime 2015 Act is implemented.Now, the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) is preparing a data price list which will be released soon, as confirmed by the Executive Vice Chairman of NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta.If the Cyber crime Prohibition and Prevention Act 2015 are eventually implemented, it won't be funny at all because we'll be paying upto 4 times more than what we're paying now for monthly data.We’ll likely be getting 250MB for N1000 with 30 days validity and 10MB data plan at N100 to last you for a day, while calls may be charged at 1naira/sec.The new price may not correspond exactly with the one stated above, but what is sure is that it'll increase and you shouldn't expect anything cheaper than what you're currently paying for data.We've seen so many weird steps the government in some Afri...

Nigerian singer, D'banj has suffered a shocking loss, a year after he welcomed his son he christened Daniel III with his wife Didi. According to insiders, Daniel reportedly drowned in a pool yesterday. A quick check on D'banj's Instagram page showed beautiful photos of his father and son moment with Daniel. While we still await a statement from the singer, it should be recalled that he held a secret wedding with his girlfriend Didi, at a low key ceremony both in Lagos and Abuja.
Davido Wins 2018 BET Best International Act Award
Nigerian musical superstar Davido last night won the 2018 BET Best International Act Award.In a keenly contested category, Davido won ahead of the likes of Cassper Nyovest , Fally Ipupa,J Hus, Tiwa Savage, Stefflon Don and Stormzy to claim the highly coveted award. It was the first time any Nigerian will receive the BET award on the main stage, with hundreds of celebrity audience cheering.Davido used the opportunity to condole with D'Banj, who lost his son yesterday, and he also urged more foreign stars to collaborate with Nigerians/Africans.
