VICTOR ADEKUNLE DAVID: GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH

The Critical issues to be considered on the resignation and defection of Mr. Victor Adekunle David the former P.A to Hon. Karimi Sunday are as stated here under.

I want everyone to know that the Office of Honourable Karimi and several of his associates saw the signs but chose to wait and see how it plays out.

He was appointed as a Federal Service Grade Level 08 Step 12 officer with the National Assembly Commission at the behest of Honourable Sunday Karimi. Honourable Karimi out of benevolence provided free accommodation for his staff at his own cost, which Victor Adekunle David and his brother, Prince Sayo Dada enjoyed without gratitude. There has been pressure from several quarters to discontinue his service due to the blackmail of his father and other members of his family, Hon. Karimi has always played it low, as they are inconsequential and as a good Christian he never wanted to visit the sin of the father on him. 

Since 2016, Mr. Victor Adekunle David has nursed the idea to contest the House of Assembly Seat in Yagba West Local Government, Kogi State, come 2019, alongside several other party faithful such as Hon. Rinde Asagun, Hon. Sunday Aremu and Barr. Oba Agbanna, all who are ardent loyalists and associates of Hon. Karimi Sunday. 

It is the believe of Victor Adekunle David, that Hon. Karimi should single him out and automatically endorse and ordain his candidature at the expense of all others merely because he is a Staff of the office of Karimi. This has been his expectation, likewise that of his father, Oba Tanimawo Dada, the Oba of Iloko Egbe. However, Honourable Karimi, being a firm advocate of internal party democracy, ardent upholder of getting the best hands for the job, has refused the  invitation and pressure to ordain any single candidate for the much sought after PDP Ticket.

This has motivated the entire family of Oba Tanimowo Dada to commence intimidation and propagation of campaign of calumny against the Honourable Member. Even about a month ago, one of the Aides of Honourable Karimi was physically assaulted by the rabid younger brother of the estranged Victor Adekunle Dada. Another of the Loyalist of the Honourable, who was former Vice-Chairman of Yagba West Local Government was also assaulted verbally and embarrassed for not manipulating the party process in favour of  the ambition of Victor Adekunle David. Although, Honourable Karimi has been aware of all these nefarious activities of Victor Adekunle David, he has out of maturity and benevolence condoned and ignored the activities of this Aide.

Hon. Sunday Karimi 

The big question however is, of what importance is Victor Adekunle David to the day to day running of Hon. Karimi Sunday's office that he will be greatly missed OR what value is he bringing to the table for his new found allies that makes him so important? Can he contend or even be compared with the more qualified APC contenders such as Aderonke Aro, Toba Owojaiye a.k.a Belushi or Barr. Adeniyi, who were all political loyalists of Honourable Karimi Sunday, when he was in ACN in 2011 and who still revere him court his goodwill till today. It is quite obvious that it is the former Senator, who has now turned the thug of the incumbent Governor of Kogi State as seen in the last Saturday election that has promised Victor Adekunle David the APC ticket or a Juicy Appointment in Kogi State all in the bid to satisfy the hunger of Adekunle David for power. 

It is very germane to set the records straight that because of his penchant for gossips, diarrhoea of the mouth Mr. David was just an errand boy in Karimi's office that is sent to merely deposit money in the bank or send correspondences to the Village. He has not held out himself as a trustworthy person that can perform the confidential duties of a Personal Assistant since 2011 and more precisely since 2016 when his zest and desperation for political office became unguarded.

Without any equivocation, Oba Tanimowo Dada, the Oba of Iloko is inconsequential in the schemes of things in Egbe, he only has an over-bloated ego that he uses to manipulate and siphon money from political office seekers. He cannot in any way determine how Egbe People will vote. He is not a respected Royal Father in Egbe, not because the title is not a revered one, but because he throws his weight behind any politician that can afford the adequate amount of naira to sway his perception of issues. Little wonder, he has been romancing consistently with the Senator Smart Adeyemi, who is delighted in receiving accolades from Sycophants.  The activities of the sons, especially Sayo Dada, the younger brother of Victor Adekunle David is a reflection of this genetic composition. 

The resignation of Mr. Victor Adekunle David and his subsequent decamping is good riddance to bad rubbish. He and whatever he was made up of, amounted to nothing to the Political base or goodwill of the Member. I want to advise the Public and all Political Associates and Supporters of Honourable Karimi to discountenance this attempt to disparage the person of Honourable Karimi or an attempt by Mr. Victor Adekunle David to weep up public sentiments in his own favour.

Adekunle David is merely drunk with ambition, hypnotized by the utopian promises made him by those who share his sentiments and want to use him to score very cheap, insignificant political goals. 

As a result, Honourable Karimi and his office are unlikely to dignify his action with a response. However, as a keen observer, I wish to set the records straight as I have done above.
