I'm unaware of any Mopamuro House of Assembly primary election in our great African Democratic Congress (ADC)

I have been receiving numerous calls from party members and supporters, following the recent event which took place during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Primary election scheduled for yesterday, 5th October 2018. Thus it is imperative to reveal the unadulterated truth and to make our points clear.


To start with there is no primary election in Mopamuro local government as election material arrived very late around 8:00pm, although party faithfuls have been in their various wards as early as possible to exercise their franchise, thus election was postponed.


However, it surprises me to be awaken by a very disheartening news that Hon. Shola Gaddafi have rigged election in the favour of his brother in-law one mr Oluseyi Solomon overnight with the help of the local government ADC chairman and vice chairman, thus depriving party members their constitutional right of direct primary as against the laid down guidelines of our National Party.


“Our position is that no election took place in Mopamuro Local government Area and the result of that  overnight election is not acceptable to us.


"Perhaps Hon Shola Gaddafi and cronies needs to be reminded that our Party; African Democratic Congress(ADC) is still at  maturing stage and crude election rigging methods such    announcement of concocted election results, depriving Party members the ability to choose their Representative and other anomalies will not be accepted as it is contrary to the tenet of our party which is centered on upholding democracy.


Furthermore, We are confident that the Party leaders will take Swift actions to correct this abnormalities. The people's vote is supreme. It must be respected and defended. That is the progressive democratic process.


Lastly, I wish to state it that party faithfuls in Mopamuro will be in their various wards today to cast their votes for their Representative.

NCC to Increase Price of Data to 250MB for N1000

NCC to Increase Data tariff way back in the month of May, there were reports that the prices for data bundles and calls will be increased if Section 24 of cyber crime 2015 Act is implemented.Now, the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) is preparing a data price list which will be released soon, as confirmed by the Executive Vice Chairman of NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta.If the Cyber crime Prohibition and Prevention Act 2015 are eventually implemented, it won't be funny at all because we'll be paying upto 4 times more than what we're paying now for monthly data.We’ll likely be getting 250MB for N1000 with 30 days validity and 10MB data plan at N100 to last you for a day, while calls may be charged at 1naira/sec.The new price may not correspond exactly with the one stated above, but what is sure is that it'll increase and you shouldn't expect anything cheaper than what you're currently paying for data.We've seen so many weird steps the government in some Afri...
